Abhinash Borah

Abhinash Borah is an accomplished academic in the field of economics with extensive experience in higher education. Currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at Ashoka University since July 2016, Borah previously held the position of Assistant Professor at the same institution. Additional experience includes a role as a Visiting Scientist at the Economic and Planning Unit of the Indian Statistical Institute in Delhi for a brief period in early 2016 and Assistant Professor of Economics at Shiv Nadar University from July 2014 to December 2015. Prior academic engagement includes positions at Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz from May 2011 to May 2014 and faculty roles at the Graduate School of Economics, Finance and Management in Frankfurt between August 2011 and April 2014. Borah obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
