Yasmine Ramachandra

Community Justice Administrator at Asian Connections Hub

Yasmine Ramachandra is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in community organizing and advocacy within the South Asian and Asian American Pacific Islander communities. Currently serving as the Digital Organizing Manager at South Asian SOAR and as a Board Member for Escape AYA Cancer, Yasmine also mentors youth through the MannMukti Fellowship, focusing on mental health awareness and identity exploration. As the Community Justice Administrator for the Asian Connections Hub, Yasmine fosters a safe and equitable environment for Asian individuals. Co-founding The Acorn Collective, Yasmine addresses intersectional injustices, and has held leadership roles at the National Asian Pacific American Women's Forum, advocating for reproductive justice. Yasmine's background includes outreach coordination with Imerman Angels and academic support roles at Oberlin College while holding a Master’s degree in Law from Northwestern University and a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Biology from Oberlin College.
