Kiyoshi Taniguchi

Kiyoshi Taniguchi is a seasoned economist with extensive experience in regional economic development, currently serving as Regional Lead Economist at the Asian Development Bank since May 2013, where responsibilities include providing economic analysis and support in the Central and West Asia Department. Prior roles at the Asian Development Bank encompass Principal and Senior Economist positions in various departments, alongside earlier experience at the World Bank focused on poverty reduction and economic management. Kiyoshi's academic background includes a Ph.D. and Master's degree in Economics from The Ohio State University, a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Oregon, and a Bachelor's degree in International Business, Trade, and Tax Law from Chiba University.
