Thushyantha Ilankovan

Thushyantha Ilankovan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in academia and technology management. Currently serving as a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Vavuniya since August 2021, Thushyantha specializes in Geographical Information Systems and Remote Sensing for undergraduate students. As the Chief Technology Officer at TechnoBrain International since April 2021, responsibilities include outlining research and development goals, aligning technical strategies with business objectives, and managing project planning and resources. Thushyantha has been an Information Technology Specialist with the Road Development Authority since August 2014, where the establishment of an information center for the Integrated Road Investment Program garnered recognition with a SAG Award in 2017. Previous roles include consulting for the Asian Development Bank and leading GIS mapping projects. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in GIS and Remote Sensing from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and a Master of Science in Information Technology from London South Bank University.
