Arun Kumar Balakrishnan has worked as a Consultant Urologist at Apollo Hospitals from August 2006 to August 2022. Arun Kumar is currently the Managing Director at Asian Institute of Nephrology and Urology starting from May 2022.

Arun Kumar Balakrishnan completed their education in the field of Urology from Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute. Arun Kumar attended the Urology Residency Program from 1995 to 2003 to obtain a Master's degree (M.S.) and a Master of Chirurgiae (M.Ch.) in Urology.
