Xuan Nguyen

Medical Interpreter at ASIAN PACIFIC DEVELOPMENT CENTER

Xuan Nguyen is a Doctoral Student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison since 2022, with a diverse background in research and community development. Currently serving as a Gender Justice & Inclusion Policy Research Intern at Oxfam America and a Graduate Research Assistant for the Women's Rights After War project at the University of Denver, Xuan has also held various roles including Medical Interpreter for the ASIAN PACIFIC DEVELOPMENT CENTER and Youth and Community Development Specialist for the Peace Corps. Additional experiences include serving as a Community Volunteer for Planned Parenthood of Illinois, a TRIO SSS Research Assistant at DePaul University, a Research Intern at Children's Research Triangle, and a Field Manager for Grassroots Campaigns. Xuan has demonstrated leadership as an Executive Board Member of Global Brigades, involving in program coordination and community outreach initiatives. Xuan holds a Master of Arts in International Relations and Affairs from the University of Denver and a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from DePaul University.
