Justin Abercrombia

Justin Abercrombia has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Justin began their career as a Document Control/ Data Entry professional at EMD Millipore, where they organized and cataloged documents and created detailed spreadsheets. After that, they worked as a Graphic Design Intern at MCW Software, where they helped redesign the company logo and designed website templates using HTML and CSS.

Justin then moved on to the University of California, Irvine, where they served as a Web & Graphic Designer. Justin formulated and managed microsites for various departments, optimized web page content, and developed web banners based on marketing guidelines and departmental needs.

Next, Justin joined Masimo as an Interactive and Web Design professional. Justin advanced the development of motion graphics using Adobe After Effects, oversaw and assigned web content for multiple clients, and pioneered product photography for digital and physical media.

Justin then worked at Sony Pictures Entertainment as a Software Engineer. In this role, they spearheaded the development of mocks and graphical elements within existing design guidelines, designed and implemented custom web applications with integrated content management systems, and ensured website compliance with organizational security standards.

Following their time at Sony, Justin joined Fox Racing as a Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer. Justin focused on improving page load speed, integrating third-party platforms like Yotpo for customer ratings and reviews, and enhancing the checkout experience with features like autocomplete address entry.

Most recently, Justin joined ASICS Digital as a Software Engineer. Justin has worked on developing a multi-region shoe finder React application, utilizing various internet technologies and integrations such as Algolia and Tealium. Their responsibilities include creating custom product attributes, tracking shoe selection and conversion data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Throughout their career, Justin has shown proficiency in technical skills such as coding and programming languages, content management systems, and design software. Justin has also demonstrated strong collaboration and problem-solving abilities in working with diverse teams to achieve project goals.

Justin Abercrombia attended Moreau Catholic High School from 2002 to 2006. After completing high school, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Studio Art at UC Irvine from 2006 to 2011. During their time at UC Irvine, Justin also pursued minors in Digital Art and Art History. In addition to their formal education, Justin has obtained several certifications, including a Graph Developer - Associate certification from Apollo GraphQL in September 2022, a Salesforce Certified B2C Commerce Developer certification from Salesforce in January 2021, and a Google Analytics for Beginners certification from Google in September 2019.
