Takuya Yamazaki has worked in the aerospace industry since 2006. In 2006, they worked as an Avionics System Engineer at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, where they developed the H2 Transfer Vehicle for supplying material to the International Space Station. From 2010 to 2011, they were a Deputy Manager for Avionics and a Deputy Manager for Satellite Avionics at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. In 2019, they worked as a Senior Deputy Manager and Avionics Engineer for TC Flight & Ground Test at Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation America, Inc. In 2020, they were a Senior Deputy Manager and Engineering Team Lead at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, where they designed several avionics systems and hardware for satellites. Currently, they are the Electric Hardware Lead at ASKA eVTOL Drive & Fly Vehicle, where they design electric power systems, communication hardware, motors, batteries, and drivers/controllers for the eVTOL. Takuya also performs structure design/modeling, manufacturing engineering/planning, and system ground and flight test planning and conducting.
Takuya Yamazaki obtained their Master of Science and Technology degree in Physical Sciences from the University of Tsukuba between 2004 and 2006.
