Alexander LaPratt MS has a diverse and extensive work experience in the culinary and wine industries. Alexander currently serves as a Professor at the Institute of Culinary Education. In 2022, they took on the role of Director of Operations at Aska. Alexander previously worked as a Professor at the International Culinary Center, specializing in sommelier training. Additionally, Alexander is the Founder of AL Restaurant Management LLC, where they provide restaurant consulting services, focusing on profitability and efficiency. Alexander also founded their own wine consulting company, Alexander LaPratt Wine Consulting LLC, offering a range of wine-related services. As an entrepreneur, Alexander has established two restaurants, Beasts & Bottles and Atrium DUMBO. In terms of their wine expertise, Alexander served as Wine Director and Manager at prestigious restaurants such as JEAN-GEORGES MANAGEMENT, Le Bernardin, and Atera Restaurant.
