David Lewis

David Lewis has a diverse work experience in event management and operations. David currently works as an Event Operations Manager at ASM Global since July 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Events at Oak View Group from August 2021 to August 2023, where they managed a team and handled event coordination. From May 2019 to August 2021, David worked as an Event Manager at Spectra. David also gained experience as a Venue Management School Intern at the International Association of Venue Managers in June 2019. Additionally, David worked as an Event Coordinator and Events Intern at Scheels Arena from September 2017 to May 2019, where they managed staff, handled event details, and addressed attendee complaints. David also worked as a General Operations Intern at Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks Baseball from May 2018 to September 2018, assisting with ticket sales, setup, and tear down of events. Prior to that, they held positions in athletic field maintenance at the City of Edina in 2017, as well as event staff roles at North Dakota State University and Target in 2016. David began their career as an Assistant Head Coach at Edina Baseball Association from June 2013 to July 2016.

David Lewis attended North Dakota State University from 2015 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Edina Senior High School from 2012 to 2015. In addition to their formal education, David has obtained several certifications including Trained Crowd Manager from the International Association of Venue Managers in April 2020, Sensory Inclusive Training from KULTURECITY in March 2020, Lift Truck Operator from the National Safety Council in October 2018, and Coaching Certification from Human Kinetics in October 2016. David also has a Certificate in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Florida Atlantic University, although the dates of completion for this program are not specified.
