Luis de Jesús Díaz

Luis de Jesús Díaz has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Luis began their career as a Documentation Clerk at AstraZeneca, where they managed facilities engineering drawings and documents as part of a student scholarship program. Luis then worked as a Quality Control Inspector at ICS Celtec for a brief period.

In 2006, they joined MD Engineering Group, PSP as a Resident Project Inspector, responsible for inspecting projects until 2012. During this time, they also worked at IC Engineering Services as a Project Resident Inspector, conducting inspections for the Puerto Rico Public Schools Modernization Program.

From 2013 to 2017, Díaz worked as a Facilities Supervisor at VPC Development Management Group, coordinating preventive maintenance programs for electrical and mechanical equipment across 64 school facilities.

In 2017, they joined AEG Facilities, PR Convention Center as an Operations Manager, a position they held until 2021. During this time, they oversaw operations and played a key role in managing the facility.

Currently, Díaz serves as the Director of Operations at Official ASM Global, where they utilize their extensive experience to lead and oversee operations.

Luis de Jesús Díaz pursued their education in a chronological manner, first obtaining a certificate in Electric Technician from the Institute of Technology, Dr. Ramon Avila. This period of study took place from 1995 to 1998. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Civil Engineering. Luis completed this degree program from 2001 to 2006.
