Martin Rodriguez Gömöri (he/him)

Martin Rodriguez Gömöri has extensive work experience in the field of IT management. Martin began their career as a Systems Admin at Tiempost in 1992 and worked there until 1997. Martin then moved on to British American Tobacco, where they held various roles, including IT Services Delivery Manager and IT Manager. During their time at British American Tobacco, they managed the IT team and oversaw operations in several areas, such as Marketing, Finance, and Trade Marketing. Martin also led multiple projects, including the implementation of ERP systems and the development of business intelligence tools.

In 2003, Martin joined Microsoft South Cone as an Engagement Manager. In this role, they were responsible for the sale and execution of consulting services, managing project teams, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Martin worked at Microsoft until 2005.

From 2006 to 2011, Martin worked as a Consultant for Credit Uruguay Banco. Martin led a large team and oversaw the implementation of a new platform for application integration and middleware. This project improved the exchange of information between internal systems and business partners, enhancing customer perception of online services.

Martin then held IT Manager positions at Suprainvest, Sofitel Montevideo Casino Carrasco & Spa, and Hyatt Centric Montevideo. In these roles, they were responsible for leading teams and managing the IT infrastructure of the organizations. Martin oversaw the implementation of technology projects, budgeted for IT resources, and ensured compliance with international standards.

In 2018, Martin joined Official ASM Global as an IT Manager. Martin'sresponsibilities in this role include overseeing IT operations and managing the IT budget.

Additionally, Martin worked as an Information Systems Forensics Expert for Poder Judicial de la República Oriental del Uruguay as an external contractor.

Throughout their career, Martin has demonstrated strong leadership skills, project management expertise, and a deep understanding of IT systems and technologies.

Martin Rodriguez Gömöri (he/him) pursued their education in the field of IT. Martin completed their Bachelor's degree in IT, specializing as an Analista de Sistemas, from Universidad ORT Uruguay in 2000. Following this, they obtained a Diploma in Sistemas de Informacion from the same institution in 2002. Later, Martin enrolled at IAE Business School in 2006 to pursue a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a major in Operations & Technology. Martin'sacademic journey demonstrates a focused educational background in IT and an additional specialization in Operations & Technology through their MBA program.
