Tasos Gemtos

Tasos Gemtos is a Senior Software Engineer at ASOS.com since April 2022, previously working as a Software Developer at Servelec from January 2018 to April 2022, and as a Trainee Software Developer earlier in their career. At Servelec, Tasos served as a technical lead on a critical mobile solution project during the COVID-19 pandemic, contributing to increased customer satisfaction through the development of a Python-based internal project for the Service Desk team. Tasos also supported junior team members through mentorship and training sessions and actively presented new technologies like React and Kotlin, influencing their adoption in future projects. Prior to their software development career, Tasos served as a Staff Sergeant in the military and completed an internship at the Public Library of Larissa. Educationally, Tasos holds a Master of Science in Software Systems from the University of Bath and a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Communication Engineering from the University of Thessaly.
