Delia Kurland

Delia Kurland has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Delia started their career at Crate and Barrel in 1997 as a Management Trainee and later became a Store Manager. During their time at Crate and Barrel, they also served as an Area Operations Manager, where they evaluated operations and created training tools for managers. In 2008, Delia joined Apple as a Senior Manager of Operations, overseeing sales floor and back-of-house operations at their flagship store. Delia was responsible for implementing strategic solutions and developing training programs. In 2012, Delia returned to Crate and Barrel as the Regional Manager for Canada, where they led the launch of the company's first international division and oversaw multiple store openings. Delia later became the East Coast Regional Operations Manager, improving inventory control practices and contributing to a reduction in company shrink. Most recently, Delia joined the ASPCA in 2019 as the Director of Operations for the Kitten Nursery and was later promoted to Senior Director of Operations for the Adoption Center and Kitten Nursery.

Delia Kurland has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Film Studies and Religion from Smith College. Delia also holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Cinema Studies from New York University. In addition, they obtained a certification as a Fear Free Certified Professional from Fear Free LLC in April 2019.
