David Chen

David Chen is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in process engineering and technical services. Currently serving as a Sr. Technical Service Engineer at Aspen Aerogels since July 2021, David previously held roles at DAR Energy Sdn Bhd, Worley, and NGLTech Group, focusing on process engineering. David's expertise includes process simulation, equipment sizing, and thermal design for heat exchangers. Academic experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at the University of Malaya, contributing to high-impact research in redox flow battery technology, alongside tutoring in engineering subjects. David holds a Master of Engineering Science in Modeling and Simulation for Vanadium-based Redox Flow Batteries, complemented by degrees from Chalmers University of Technology and the University of Malaya.
