Harold Klei

Harold Klei, CEM, has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries. Harold began their career as a Nuclear Submarine Officer in the US Navy from 1987 to 1993. After that, they worked as a Corporate Engineer at Teknor Apex Company from 1993 to 1999. At Chase Corporation, they served as a Plant Engineer from 1999 to 2005 and later became the Engineering Manager responsible for capital projects across multiple production facilities until 2015. From 2015 to 2019, Harold worked at Aspen Aerogels as a Senior Process Engineer and then as the Director of Plant Engineering, overseeing strategic investments and leading engineering and maintenance teams. Currently, they are a Senior Process Engineer at AeroShield Materials. Harold's experience includes expertise in engineering, equipment design and operation, energy management, and project management.

Harold Klei, CEM, obtained their Bachelor's degree in Applied and Engineering Physics from Cornell University, completing their education from 1983 to 1987. In addition to their degree, they received certification as a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) from the Association of Energy Engineers in October 2022.
