Thomas Carney

Thomas Carney is an experienced professional in the field of materials science, currently serving as Director of Energy Storage at Aspen Aerogels since October 2021, following a role as Senior Manager of Cell Engineering. Prior to this position, Thomas held various leadership positions at CAMX Power, including Director of Cell Production, Product Manager, and Associate Principal from September 2018 to October 2021. Thomas obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Materials Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2012 to 2018 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science from Stanford University from 2008 to 2012.
