Michael Studley

Director, Customer Service - Field Service Engineering at Aspen Avionics

Michael Studley has extensive experience in the aviation industry. Michael started their career in the United States Air Force as a Jet Engine Mechanic from 1989 to 1991. Michael then worked as an Avionics Technician at Business Express Airlines, specializing in troubleshooting and repair of avionics and electrical systems. From 1996 to 1999, they served as a Lead Avionics Technician at Port City Aircraft Repair, where they managed installations, repairs, and testing of light aircraft avionics.

In 1999, Studley joined Pro Star Aviation as a Lead Avionics Technician, providing on-site troubleshooting and repair services to corporate aviation operators in multiple states. Michael then worked at Maine Aviation Aircraft Maintenance as the Manager of the Avionics Department from 2000 to 2006. During this time, they were responsible for the coordination of projects, scheduling, and operational procedures.

From 2006 to 2008, Studley worked at Atlas Aircraft Center / PlaneSense as the Manager of the Avionics Department. Michael was then appointed as the Director of Customer Service - Field Service Engineering at Aspen Avionics in 2008. In this role, they oversaw customer and technical support worldwide, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction by balancing customer needs with the company's interests. Michael also provided valuable insights from a field perspective to Aspen's engineering, manufacturing, and certification teams.

Michael Studley obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Micro Computer Support from Mount Washington College from 2000 to 2003. Prior to that, they earned a Diploma in Aircraft Avionics from Wentworth Technical School from 1992 to 1993. Additionally, they received another Diploma in FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certification from East Coast Aero Technical School from 1991 to 1992.
