Johan Asplund

Johan Asplund has extensive work experience in various roles related to software development, agile coaching, and project management. Johan started their career in 1998 as a Software Engineer at Kockumation AB and later joined Qlik, where they worked as an Internal app developer, Charity Fellow at Medair, and Project Manager and Agile Coach. At Qlik, they were responsible for creating and maintaining apps, helping the organization meet its objectives, and implementing and improving the development process.

Johan then worked as a Project Manager and Qlikview Expert at Modity Energy Trading AB, where they introduced agile methodologies to increase transparency in projects. Additionally, Johan worked as a Scrum Master and Agile Coach (Consultant) at Advenica AB, where they implemented Scrum in one of their development teams as a pilot project.

Johan also served as an Agile Project Manager at One Agency Sweden AB, where they focused on disrupting and challenging the IT-consultancy industry by empowering its people. Johan has experience as an Agile Coach (Consultant) at BIMobject, where they helped three teams find the best way of working in a rapidly growing organization.

Prior to their current role, Johan worked as an Agile Coach at E.ON ENERGILÖSNINGAR AB, primarily assisting teams focused on selling and installing solar panels and heat pumps. Johan then joined Storytel as an Engineering Manager, leading a team in software development. Johan is currently the Team Lead for Software Development at Asperiq.

Johan Asplund has a diverse education history with a focus on personal development and software development. From 2000 to 2018, they attended Personal Development Courses, where they gained knowledge in various aspects of personal development. Between 1997 and 1998, Johan studied software development at AMS. Prior to that, they attended Kungsängsskolan from 1989 to 1991, though the field of study is unspecified. Early in their education, from 1986 to 1989, Johan attended Ekebyskolan where they focused on becoming an electrician.

In addition to their formal education, Johan has obtained several certifications. Johan completed a course on "How to Create and Run a Brilliant Remote Workshop" from LinkedIn in February 2021. In September 2012, Johan became a Certified Scrum Master through the Scrum Alliance.
