Samuel Alves

Samuel Alves has extensive experience in product management, technical sales, and technical support for various companies. Samuel is currently serving as the Head of Product Management Services at Asperiq since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Honeywell as an Offering Manager for Plant Controllers & OEM from June 2019 to August 2022. Samuel also worked at ABB as a Product Manager from August 2014 to May 2019, where they focused on utility communications products, systems, and services. Before that, they were a Technical Sales Engineer at KEYMILE from May 2013 to July 2014, providing pre-sales support and technical assistance for worldwide projects. Samuel also served as a Technical Support Engineer at Alcatel-Lucent Schweiz AG from October 2011 to April 2013, and as a Customer Support Engineer at Alcatel-Lucent Portugal from March 2007 to September 2011, where they handled complex network problems and participated in the product release validation process. Samuel Alves began their career as a Systems Administrator at IBM GSDC Brno, Czech Republic in July 2006, where they were responsible for monitoring and alert management, production control, and support.

Samuel Alves pursued their education in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at UTAD from 2000 to 2005, where they obtained a Master's degree in Electronics and Computer Science. In 2005, they continued their studies at Brno University of Technology, specializing in Information Technologies. During this time, they completed a Master thesis in network computers and obtained their second Master's degree.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Samuel Alves also obtained certifications in the field of network and information technologies. In March 2006, they became a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) in Routing and Switching. Later, in July 2010, they acquired the Alcatel-Lucent Scalable IP Networks (NRS I) certification from Alcatel-Lucent.
