Rodrigo Fernandes

Rodrigo Fernandes possesses extensive experience in sports coaching and education, currently serving as a Football Coach at ASPIRE Academy for Sports Excellence since March 2013, where responsibilities include planning sessions, scouting talent, and mentoring fellow coaches. Previously, Rodrigo was the U17 National Team Assistant Football Coach for QFA from August 2018 to May 2022 and held various coaching positions at multiple schools and clubs, including Boys Varsity Soccer Head Coach at West Vigo County High School and U19 Boys Soccer Head Coach at Wabash Valley United. In addition to coaching, Rodrigo has also worked as a Physical Education Teacher at Doha Academy, overseeing athletic programs. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education in Sport Leadership from Concordia University Chicago, a Master of Education in Curriculum Development from Montana State University-Bozeman, and a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science from Indiana State University in Physical Education Teaching and Kinesiology, respectively.
