David Jones

David Jones has a diverse work experience in the housing industry. David is currently the Head Of Commercial at Aspire Housing since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Orbit Group from 2016 to 2022, holding various roles such as Interim Head of Responsive Repairs, Contract Operations Manager, Head of Estates, and Contract Consultant. From 2011 to 2016, they served as the Operations Manager at FRIENDSHIP CARE AND HOUSING LIMITED. Earlier in their career, they worked at Derby Homes from 2003 to 2011, fulfilling roles like Operations manager - Asset Management and Senior Maintenance Surveyor.

David Jones completed their BSC in Building Surveying at Sheffield Hallam University from 2001 to 2005. Prior to that, they earned a BSC in Construction Management from the University of Derby, where they studied from 1995 to 1999. In addition to their degree programs, David also obtained a NEBOSH General Certificate in Health and Safety from North Nottinghamshire College. David also participated in the Oasis Leadership Programme and became a Qualified Domestic Energy Assessor. Furthermore, they completed a course on P405 Management of Asbestos at an unspecified university.
