Gary Burris manages the Human Resources team and develops and leads HR strategies across Aspire Indiana Health. This includes talent management, employee development and relations, compensation and benefits administration, and regulatory compliance. He advises executive leadership on key organizational, management, and human capital issues.
Burris also oversees the development, implementation, and tracking of performance management processes and systems of the organization. And he is in charge of developing, maintaining, and administering policies and procedures regarding employment and workplace practices in support of Aspire’s mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities.
After receiving his bachelor’s degree from Purdue University, Burris began his career in retail management, where he learned the importance of collaboration, communication, teamwork, and soft skills.
