Christopher Donovan

Christopher Donovan, MBA, CHCIO, PMP has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various industries and leadership roles. Christopher is currently working as the System Director of IT Operations at Aspirus Health. Prior to this, they served as the IT Director of Service Delivery for the Wisconsin Market at Ascension, where they led IT operations for 30 hospitals and 250+ clinics. Christopher also worked at Marshfield Clinic Health System as an Enterprise Project Manager and served as a deputy to the Chief Administrative Officer during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Before transitioning to the healthcare industry, Christopher held positions at Foxconn, where they served as a Senior Project Manager and led the development of Foxconn's first Innovation Centers in the United States. Christopher also has an extensive background in the military, having served in the Wisconsin Army National Guard for over two decades. During their time in the military, they held various IT leadership positions and was involved in strategic planning and the implementation of information technology operations.

Christopher's work experience also includes roles as a Baldrige Examiner for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award and the Army Communities of Excellence program. Christopher has received accolades for their leadership and innovation in improving service delivery, performance, and strategic planning. With their strong background in IT, project management, and leadership, Christopher has demonstrated their ability to drive organizational growth and deliver results across different sectors.

Christopher Donovan holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from UW-Stevens Point, specializing in Applied Leadership and Decision-Making, which they completed between 2020 and 2022. Christopher earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Information Technology Management from American Public University in 2015 and 2016. Moreover, Christopher holds various certifications, including the Certified Healthcare CIO (CHCIO) from CHIME, obtained in 2023, and the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, obtained in February 2020. Christopher also acquired additional certifications in IT Service Desk, Tableau Dashboards, and Project Management Simplified.
