Matt Thompson

Matt Thompson has a diverse work experience in various communication roles. Matt worked as the Aspirus Regional Communications & Engagement Lead, EMS Outreach Coordinator at Aspirus Health, and EMS Outreach Coordinator at Ascension Wisconsin Spirit Medical Transport. Matt also served as a Play-by-play Announcer at WMQA Radio for Lakeland Union High School sports. Matt has also worked as a Public Relations/Communications Specialist at Aspirus and Public and Community Relations Manager at Ministry Health Care. Additionally, they worked as a Television Sports Director/Anchor at WJFW Channel 12 and as a Sports Reporter/Photographer at WGBA Channel 26. Matt has a strong background in media and communication, with experience in crisis communications and creating compelling stories.

Matt Thompson studied Communications, with a focus on Radio/TV/Film, at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh from 1996 to 2000. In 2018, they attended Northcentral Technical College to study Emergency Medical Technology/Technician (EMT Paramedic).
