Andy Caldwell

Andy Caldwell has over 20 years of work experience in the information technology field. From 1997 to 2001, they held the role of Information Systems Analyst at CDSI, Senior Network Analyst at Providence Hospital, and Senior Network Engineer at Berney Office Solutions. In 2001, they moved to George Regional Health System where they served as the Information Systems Director and Corporate Compliance Officer. In 2010, they joined General Dynamics Information Technology as a Principle Information Security Analyst. From 2011 to 2017, they worked at Hewlett Packard Enterprise as the Acting CISO, Data Center Compliance Manager, and Data Center ISSO (Contractor). In 2017, they became an Information Assurance Consultant (Contractor) at DXC Technology. In 2018, they joined Steampunk, Inc. as an Information Assurance Consultant - ISSO (Contractor). In 2019, they became the Managing Member at Rhinosec.

Andy Caldwell's education history includes a Lead Auditor ISO 9001:2008 certification obtained from QAI in 2014, a Certificate from the DHS ISSO Workshop in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance in 2010, a Certificate from Mississippi State University in Cyber/Computer Forensics and Counterterrorism in 2010, a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix in 2005-2007, an Associate of Liberal Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from San Diego City College in 1995-1997, and Communications Security training from CSTSC, US Navy in 1989-1990. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from ISACA (CRISC in 2011), (ISC)2 Raleigh-Durham (CISSP in 2010), and Microsoft (MCP and MCSE).
