Taru Uotila

Taru Uotila serves as the Senior Vice President of Legal Affairs, HR, and Sustainability, as well as General Counsel at Aspo Plc since January 2023. In addition to this role, Taru Uotila is a Board Member at Finnish Minerals Group and a Member of the Board of Directors at ESL Shipping Ltd, both starting in 2024. Previously, Taru Uotila held several prominent positions at VR Group from August 2013 to November 2022, including Senior Vice President of Legal Affairs and Sustainability and General Counsel, as well as acting in the role of Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Taru Uotila's extensive legal experience includes senior counsel roles at GE Healthcare and Fortum, and earlier work as an attorney-at-law. Educational qualifications include an LL.M. in European Legal Studies from the College of Europe and a Master of Laws from the University of Helsinki.
