Jason H. began their work experience in 1997 as an Avionics Technician. Jason then transitioned to the United States Air Force as an Avionics Production Shift Lead in 2000. In 2003, they joined EDO as a Flight Test Software Engineer. From 2007 to 2014, they worked at Lockheed Martin in various roles, including Senior Software Engineer, Senior Operational Analyst, and Staff Software I&T Engineer. In 2016, they briefly worked at JT4 as a Staff Software Engineer. In 2017, they joined NASA as an Aerospace Simulation Lead Engineer and later became the Chief Project Engineer until 2021. In 2022, Jason H. worked as a Software Systems Engineer at Space Dynamics Laboratory before joining ASRC Federal as a Principal Software Analyst, where they currently support the design and development of NASA's ARMD Test Data Portal.

Jason H. obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Avionics Maintenance Technology/Technician from the Community College of the Air Force from 1998 to 2001. Jason then pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from Wichita State University between 2001 and 2003. Later, they completed their Master of Science (M.S.) in Systems Engineering from The George Washington University - School of Engineering & Applied Science from 2011 to 2013.
