Steve Luk

Steve Luk has a diverse and extensive work experience in data analytics, data engineering, and data platform management. Steve is currently the Head of Data Analytics and Data Engineering at Pacvue since 2022. Previously, they worked as the Sr. Director of Data Platform at FLYR Labs from 2021 to 2022, where they built a scalable distributed data platform and implemented a data operation framework. Before that, Steve held roles at NortonLifeLock, serving as the Sr. Director of Data Engineering & Platform from 2020 to 2021 and the Director of Data Engineering & Platform from 2017 to 2020. At NortonLifeLock, they drove data initiatives with Financial Planning & Analysis, consolidated legacy data environments, and promoted a single source of truth. Steve worked at Symantec from 2005 to 2017, where they held various positions such as Sr. Dev Manager, Sr. Manager, and Business Data Architect, focusing on business intelligence, analytics, and program management. Steve began their career as a Database Architect/Project Manager at Data by Design, LLC from 2003 to 2005.

Steve Luk has a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from the University of Rochester.
