Deidre McPherson

Deidre McPherson, MBA, currently serves as the Chief Community Officer at Assembly for the Arts, focusing on enhancing resources and equity in Greater Cleveland's arts and culture sector. As the Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Deidre McPherson, LLC, a consulting practice, McPherson specializes in strategic partnerships with arts and cultural organizations to support historically marginalized communities. Previous roles include Director of Artistic and Community Initiatives at FRONT International Cleveland Triennial for Contemporary Art, Department Director of Public Programs at the Cleveland Museum of Art, and Director of Community Programs at MOCA Cleveland. McPherson's background also includes founding the Cleveland chapter of Sistah Sinema and holding marketing roles at COSE and The Cleveland Orchestra. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Marketing from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Marketing, Violin Performance, and Arts Management from Miami University.
