Alejandro started their career at Banchile in 2002, where they worked as an Analyst Backoffice International. One of their major achievements during this time was participating in the launch of the compliance area for clients in New York, New Jersey, and Chile. Alejandro was also responsible for communication and closing deals with international brokers.
In 2007, Alejandro joined Moneda Asset Management as the Head of Operations for Private Banking. In this role, they led the custodial and treasury team and improved daily operations. Additionally, they managed projects related to the growth of the private banking division and the implementation of the Pershing-Netexchange product.
From 2008 to 2013, Alejandro worked at FYNSA, initially as a Corporate Compliance Officer and later as the Compliance Manager, Risk Manager, and Crime Prevention Officer. Alejandro'sresponsibilities included ensuring compliance with local and international regulations and overseeing risk management. Alejandro also served as a special member of the Board of Directors to stay informed about important matters.
In 2016, Alejandro founded Munita Asesores, a consultancy specializing in compliance across various business lines. Alejandro'swork involved implementing ethical cultures, developing and implementing crime prevention models, and establishing compliance units.

Alejandro Munita Cano has a diverse education history. In 1999 to 2003, they attended IPLA, where they obtained a degree in Ingeniero de ejecución en Administración Financiera. Alejandro then pursued further studies and completed a Diplomado Internacional en formación de Ejecutivos de Etica y Cumplimiento (Compliance Officer) at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez in 2012. In the same year, they also studied Corporate Compliance at Florida International University - College of Law. In 2015, Alejandro attended Universidad de Chile and completed a Seminario en Gestión de Riesgo Operacional para Instituciones Financieras. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Corporate Compliance from Florida International University in December 2013. Alejandro also studied Interpretariado y Traducción Simultanea at Estudio Idioma Inglés: American Language Institute, although the exact duration of this program is not provided.
