Andrew Serwadda has a diverse range of work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2010, they worked as a Research Assistant at Tulane University, where they provided program support for e-learning training programs focused on sustainable development and social entrepreneurship. The following year, they interned at Mitsubishi Motors Uganda. From 2012 to 2013, they were an Account Executive at QG Group Uganda, managing client accounts and executing marketing campaigns. Andrew then served as an Account Manager at MetropolitanRepublic from 2013 to 2016, where they managed integrated marketing communications for regional and international brands. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Marketing Associate at ENGIE Energy Access (Africa), designing marketing campaigns and supporting special projects. In 2021, they were a Marketing Coordinator at The Tech Effect and a Creative Production Manager at TEDxToronto. In 2021 and 2022, they worked as a Sales Development Representative at Hootsuite and a Business Development Representative at Assent, respectively.
Andrew Serwadda obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics & Management and Political Science from Beloit College, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications in various fields. In 2015, they completed a one-day crash course in Digital Marketing from Red & Yellow School, specifically in MetropolitanRepublic. In 2021, they obtained certifications in Social Marketing and the Hootsuite platform from Hootsuite. In 2022, they acquired certifications in Social Selling from Hootsuite and the Value Selling Framework from ValueSelling Associates, Inc.
