Matthew Brownlow - Hewett

Matthew Brownlow - Hewett has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and programming. Matthew started their career as an Instructor at CTI Education Group in 2007. Matthew then worked as a Junior Developer at Pan African Shopfitters before joining Legal Interact as a Junior/Mid-level Developer, where they developed new features for custom accounting software.

Moving forward, Matthew worked at Knotion Consulting as an Integration Specialist. Matthew then joined iLogic as a Programmer, where they developed websites, implemented content upgrades, and worked on RFID software integration with Facebook and payment gateway integration.

After that, Matthew joined Legal Interact again, this time as a Software Developer, where they developed software applications using Microsoft technologies. Matthew was responsible for creating and writing the creditors module for the accounting desktop application.

Matthew then joined BBD as a Software Developer, focusing on the Vodacom Mpesa System. Matthew worked on full Microsoft stack development, including MS SQL database changes, WCF service creation and updating, and USSD portal changes.

Later, Matthew joined Entelect as a Senior Software Engineer and worked on software development projects for First National Bank. Matthew created a client portal for relationship managers, enabling them to manage business customers and ensure compliance with local Know Your Customer laws.

Most recently, Matthew worked at Assent Compliance Inc as a Technical Lead, where they led a team focusing on Identity and Access Management. Matthew worked with technologies like Auth0, AWS, Angular, and NodeJS. Matthew also took ownership of the Public API, led scrum meetings, and explored AWS services for automation purposes.
