Kaz Sakai

Kaz Sakai, CFA, currently serves as the Head of Japan Research at Asset Value Investors since June 2021. Prior to this role, Kaz held various positions, including Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company from September 2018 to August 2019, and Senior Associate at a Private Equity Fund from April 2016 to August 2018. Kaz also had a secondment at Shiseido in the Corporate Strategy and Business Development Departments from April 2015 to March 2016, and worked as a Junior Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company from April 2011 to March 2016. Kaz holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, completed in 2021, and a Bachelor of Science in Geochemistry from The University of Tokyo, obtained in 2011.
