Timothy James

Timothy James, CFA, is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as Senior Manager of Investment Product Development and Management at AssetMark since February 2022. In this role, Timothy oversees end-to-end product development, conducts research for new product proposals, and collaborates with business partners for product execution and strategic guidance. Prior to joining AssetMark, Timothy spent nearly nine years at Vanguard in various analytical roles, including Senior Fund Financial Analyst for European and American products, where responsibilities included launching a new fund accounting team and conducting comprehensive fund analyses. Timothy's finance career began at The LIFE Financial Group as an intern, complemented by a role as News Editor at The Oswegonian, showcasing strong organizational and writing skills. Timothy holds a BA/BS in Economics and Finance from the State University of New York at Oswego.
