Paul Watje

Paul Watje has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Paul began their career at AT&T Services as a Technical Trainer in 1989 and later joined Dell as a Unix Help Desk support in 1992. Paul then worked at Metrica as a Programmer/Analyst from 1992 to 1994. Following this, they joined Hastings Entertainment as a Sr. Programmer/Analyst in 1994, and then moved to AssetWorks Inc as a Programmer in 1995. At AssetWorks Inc, they worked their way up to become a Senior Software Engineer before taking on the role of Principle Analyst. Paul's responsibilities included working on the Facilities Management (CAFM) product, where they gathered requirements, designed databases, and developed backend software and front-end screens, with a focus on sub-systems such as financial and inventory transaction management.

In 2017, Paul joined Popplr as the Lead Developer, where they served as the primary backend developer for an investment by speculation project. This project involved developing a Marketplace style application for antiques, with an iOS and Web front end and AWS backend. Throughout their career, Paul has demonstrated expertise in software development, database design, and project management.

Paul Watje earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at San Antonio. Paul attended the university from 1984 to 1989.
