Lauren Smith

Lauren Smith currently serves as the Regional Operations Director at VCA Canada, where responsibilities include overseeing a +$30 million operating budget for nine veterinary facilities in British Columbia. Prior to this role, Lauren held the position of General Manager at the VCA Canada Vancouver Animal Emergency and Referral Centre, managing a team of specialists and providing advanced care for animals 24/7. Previous experience includes general management roles at Williams-Sonoma, Inc. and Bluenotes, along with a focus on learning and development at Gap Inc. Lauren's educational background includes a diploma in Music Theory and Composition from Vancouver Island University and a Leadership Development degree from Harvard Business School.
