Chris Paterson

Christopher Paterson is a Chemical Engineer and was promoted to the position of Managing Director at AES following a 4 year stint as the Regional Manager of the KZN Region. After Graduating from UCT, Chris joined Sasol Synfuels in Secunda where he worked in the Refinery Environment. While working for Sasol, Chris worked both in projects and operations on a number of Refining Processes. After 6 years at Sasol, he joined AES in the KZN Region. Some of Chris’s greatest achievements are completing his degree with honours, obtaining The Omnia Award for Best Final Year Thesis, saving Sasol Synfuels costs through process optimization and being made Deputy Head Boy of his High School. In his free time, Chris enjoys Fishing, Riding and Surfing.
