Ed Rossi has more than 30 years of experience in the field of news technology and editorial systems. Ed started their career in 1991 as a copy editor for the Los Angeles Times - Washington Post News Service. Ed then worked as a design editor for the Press-Telegram, where they were responsible for page layout and graphics production. In 1994, Rossi joined The Arizona Republic as a News Technology Team Leader. After five years, they moved on to The Washington Post, where they served as the News Technology Editor for eight years. In 2008, Rossi joined the Associated Press as the Director of Editorial Systems, a position they still hold.
Ed Rossi attended California State University, Long Beach from 1986 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism. In addition to their degree, they have obtained certifications in Wilderness First Aid from NOLS Wilderness Medicine in March 2017 and as a Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance in May 2014.
