Dr. Declan Woods

Dr. Declan Woods has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Dr. Declan is currently serving as the CEO of teamGenie® and teamSalient®, where they utilize their expertise as a top team psychologist and CEO coach to create and develop effective teams. In addition, Dr. Woods is a Professor of Leadership Practice at King's College London, contributing to the advancement of leadership studies. Dr. Declan previously held the position of Global Head of Team Coaching Standards and Accreditation at the Association for Coaching (AC) and Senior Faculty & Co-Programme Director at the Team Coaching Studio. Earlier in their career, Dr. Woods worked as a Master Coach & boardroom Psychologist at ZPD Consulting Ltd and held committee member positions at Comic Relief and RICS. Dr. Declan also served as the Global Head of Standards & Accreditation at the Association for Coaching and held executive roles at Penna, including Managing Director of Board & Executive Practice and Head of Board & Executive Coaching & Leadership Development.

Dr. Declan Woods has a diverse educational background. Dr. Declan holds an Executive Master in Change Consulting from INSEAD, a Master of Education in Developmental Psychology from the University of Cambridge, and a Doctor of Psychology from the University of Leicester. Dr. Declan also obtained two Postgraduate Certificates in Psychodynamic Psychology and Supervision of Applied Psychological Practice from the University of Oxford. Additionally, they completed an Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School, a Postgraduate Certificate in Adult Teaching & Learning from London South Bank University, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from De Montfort University. Furthermore, they have certifications including Accredited Master Executive Coach (MEC) and Accredited Master Team Coach (MTC) from the Association for Coaching, Associate Fellow (AFBPsS) and Chartered Coaching Psychologist (CPsychol) from The British Psychological Society, Chartered Fellow (FCIPD) from The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, Fellow (FAC) from the Association for Coaching, and Practitioner (Registered) Psychologist (HCPC Reg.) from The Health and Care Professions Council.
