Amit Sheth is the NCR Chair and Professor at the University of South Carolina, where Amit also serves as the Founding Director of the Artificial Intelligence Institute. Amit is a Fellow at ACM, AAAS, and AAAI for their contributions to information integration, distributed workflow, semantics, and knowledge-based big data analytics. Amit is also the Founder and Member of the Board at Cognovi Labs, an Advisory Board Member at SoPact, and an Advisor at Edamam LLC. Additionally, Amit is a Fellow at IEEE and previously served as the Cofounder and Chief Advisor at ezDI, LLC. Amit holds a PhD in Computer & Information Science from The Ohio State University, among other degrees.
