Tanguy le Turquais

Tanguy Le Turquais is an accomplished sailor and project leader currently involved in the Vendée Globe project with Association LAZARE, focusing on the promotion and sponsorship acquisition for the initiative. Notable achievements include securing a highly recognized Imoca and successfully completing the Route du Rhum, finishing as the second derailleur despite challenges. Tanguy has an extensive background in competitive sailing, having served as a professional skipper in various prestigious events, including the Solitaire du Figaro and the Championnat de France Mini 6.50, where a championship title was earned in 2015. Additionally, Tanguy founded the Ecole de Croisière Tangmaïlé, aimed at introducing the beauty of sailing to newcomers. Educational qualifications include a Captain 200 diploma from CEFCM Lorient and a BPJEPS Voile from INB.
