James Davies

James Davies is an experienced professional in the rail industry, currently serving as a Field Auditor at the Association of American Railroads since May 2021. Prior to this role, James held various positions at Union Tank Car Company, including Railcar Repair Supervisor, from June 2007 to May 2021, where involvement in annual quality and safety audits was a key responsibility. James began a career in the industry at GE Capital from 2007 to 2016, progressing from a certified welder and carman to a Leadman and finally a Supervisor. Earlier experience includes a role as a Technician at Sba Network Services from January 2003 to March 2007. James holds an Associate's degree in Liberal Studies from Mansfield University and a certification from BOCES Welding School.
