Prior to becoming a Counsellor in private practice, Blair spent 25 years as an Insurance and Financial Advisor. Early experience in his career involved both sales and management roles for some of Canada’s largest Cooperative sector financial institutions. This early experience lead to forming and developing a successful financial services practice he developed and maintained for 14 years. In addition to his current roles as Director and Chair of ACCT’s Regulation services committee, Blair currently serves as the Vice Chair of The Federated Associations for Counselling Therapists in BC (FACTBC), a provincial non-profit society representing 13 associations committed to the regulation of competency-based Counselling Therapy in BC.
