Ishaan Dixit has a diverse work experience in the field of design and architecture. Ishaan is currently serving as the Head of Events & Activities at the Association of Designers of India. Prior to this, they founded The India Design Project, an initiative that focuses on collaborations and discussions related to Indian design. Ishaan also co-founded Chitrakosh Visual Production House, where they carried out professional publication shoots, photography, and documentary projects. Ishaan has also been involved with the National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad as a participant in their Design Faculty Development Program. Ishaan began their career as an architect, specializing in Vernacular Architecture methods in India, with internships and a final thesis project carried out under Ar Nimish Patel.
Ishaan Dixit completed a Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) degree in Architecture from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli from 2004 to 2009. From 2010 to 2012, they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Photography Design at the National Institute of Design, followed by a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) in Photography from the University for the Creative Arts during the same period.
