Cristin Toutsi Grigos has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Cristin is currently the Senior Vice President & Chief Content and Program Officer at AGB (Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges), a role they started in July 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President for Content and Program Strategy at AGB, where they identified and prioritized issues facing higher education and developed multi-media content and programs to inform members. Before that, they were the Associate Vice President for Content Strategy and Development, overseeing AGB's digital and print resources.
Cristin has held various other positions at AGB, including Senior Director for Public Policy and Strategic Communications, Director of Public Policy and Statewide Programs, and Interim Director of AGB Consulting. In these roles, they developed and implemented advocacy efforts, tracked and analyzed policy trends, and directed grant-funded projects.
Before joining AGB, Cristin worked at The College of William and Mary as a Graduate Assistant in the Office of Academic Support for Athletics and Office of the Dean of Students. Cristin also served as a Governor's Fellow under Governor Tim Kaine at the Commonwealth of Virginia, where they drafted policy briefs and assisted with emergency management planning.
Earlier in their career, Cristin worked at Christopher Newport University as the Coordinator of the President's Leadership Program, engaging students in service-learning projects and teaching leadership courses. Cristin also served as a Leadership Fellow at the university.
Throughout their career, Cristin has demonstrated a strong focus on higher education, policy analysis, content strategy, and program development. Cristin has extensive experience in board governance, advocacy, and leadership development.
Cristin Toutsi Grigos holds a M.Ed. degree in Higher Education Policy, Planning, and Leadership from William & Mary. Prior to that, they earned a B.S. in Government Administration with a concentration in Public Management from Christopher Newport University.
