John Keane

John Keane has over 8 years of work experience in the political field. John began their career in 2011 as an intern for Congressman Braley. In 2012, they became the Campaign Manager for the Iowa Democratic Party. In 2013, they were a Legislative Secretary for the Iowa House of Representatives, where they ran the day-to-day operations of the office and gained extensive political knowledge. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Legislative Associate for Stateside Associates. In 2017, they were a Policy and Advocacy Associate for the National Society of Professional Engineers. John currently serves as the Manager of Government Relations for the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM).

John Keane attended Drake University from 2013 to 2014, where they earned a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.). Prior to that, they attended Loras College from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Studies.
