Sheri Winesett

Sheri Winesett is a seasoned hospice chaplain with extensive experience in spiritual care, currently serving at Centra Health since April 2016. In addition to this role, Sheri holds the position of Chair of the Graduate Education Equivalency Committee within the Certification Commission of the Association of Professional Chaplains since July 2022. Previous experience includes serving as a PRN chaplain at Transitions LifeCare and as a Hospitality Specialist at Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill, both in 2015-2016, as well as a chaplain at UNC Health from 2012 to 2016, where diverse roles included internship, residency, palliative care residency, and weekend coverage. Sheri holds a Master of Divinity degree from Duke Divinity School and a Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Theology from Lee University.
