Karen Luckett

Karen Luckett is an experienced educator and community leader currently serving as the Campus Representative for the Association of Texas Professional Educators since August 2018. With a robust background in music education, Karen has been the Junior High Director of Bands for Mount Pleasant Independent School District since July 2008. In addition to roles in education, Karen has contributed to Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated as a member since June 2017, and has served as a Local Preacher and Minister of Music at Moses Chapel Christian Methodist Episcopal Church since 2009. Academically, Karen holds a Master of Arts in Christian Studies with an emphasis on Christian Leadership from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Arts in Flute Performance from the University of Arkansas at Monticello, complemented by an Honors Diploma from Drew Central High School.
