Clarence Daniel has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Clarence started their career in 1998 as a Recreation Aide at the City of Bethel Alaska. In 1998, they also worked as an Occupancy Specialist at Avcp Housing Authority before transitioning to the role of Intake Coordinator in 1999. From 2004 to 2009, Clarence served as the Housing Manager at Avcp Housing Authority.
In 2009, Clarence joined the Association of Village Council Presidents (AVCP) as the Transportation Director, a role they held for over 10 years until 2019. During their time at AVCP, they also served as the Community Development Division Director starting from October 2019.
Overall, Clarence has extensive experience in various roles related to community development, transportation, housing management, and coordination.
Clarence Daniel has an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in General Studies from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, which they received in 2020. Prior to that, they obtained their High School Diploma from Lewis Angapak Memorial School in the years 1986 to 1990. In terms of additional certifications, Clarence obtained a 30-hour General Industry Safety and Health certification from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) in December 2016. Clarence also holds an Alaska Certified Erosion & Sediment Control Lead certification from The Associated General Contractors of Alaska, received in January 2019.
